Finally... I've got it!

Well, I managed to get a couple pictures of "the smile". :)

We had a really good weekend! It took me all day Saturday and most of the morning Sunday to get my house cleaned. I was determined to get it done so I wouldn't have to do it this week. We also cleaned out the garage and put some stuff in the attic that we don't use that often. Like big ice chests and a huge tub of clothes that Baylee has outgrown. I still have some work to do out there, but at least we can park one of the cars in there now.

We were going to go eat with my friend Stacy and her husband Brad on Saturday night. I couldn't get a sitter and really wanted to go without the kids going as well! So, we just stayed here and I baked some cornish hens and rice. OMG... I just threw it in a pan and it turned out! This is what I did. I took a round baking dish/stone (Pampered Chef), placed 3 cornish hens in the pan, generously sprinkled Lemon Pepper seasoning all over them. Where there were spaces between the hens and in the middle I put rice there (I just eyed the amount). Then, I mixed up 2 cups of boiling water with 4 chicken bouillon cubes and poured that over the rice. Covered tightly with foil and baked at 400 degrees until the rice was finished cooking. Try it... it's easy and SO GOOD!
What else... yesterday we went out to the lake and had a little afternoon picnic while the kids went fishing! We weren't out of the car for 1 minute before Baylee cut the entire top of her foot. There is a 4 inch scratch on top of her foot. I told her to be careful because it's very hilly where we were at. I guess her shoe came off and she scratched it on a rock or something. UGH! After we got over about 15 minutes of crying she was good to go. They went fishing and swimming and had a lot of fun!
