Weekend Fun!

This weekend was busy, but fun! Friday night I didn't work at the church because we went to a couple haunted houses. They were SO MUCH FUN! We took my nephew with us and he had fun. He got car sick at the first one. You had to ride in a haunted bus backwards and they were playing this movie. They were driving to what was going on during the movie. We ended up at the haunted house where you walked through. My nephew sat that one out because he did not feel good at all! Poor kid... I felt SO sorry for him! We went with some friends of ours. I guess our group had about 20 people to it!

After that we got in the car and drove about 30 minutes north to the Arkansas/Missouri border. Out on some dirtroad where they had a spook trail. It was cool too! These people have been doing it for 12 years and they have the trail memorized. They pull you along behind a tractor on these benches through the spook trail. It was dark and people were jumping out from the woods. They had places you would stop at and the people dressed up would do a little skit. It was fun and scared me!

Saturday I woke up early and went to the craft fair for a bit with my neighbor. That was fun. I was good and only bought a toy for Baylee. She loved it! Saturday afternoon we went to our friends parents farm where we did a Hayride for the kids. That was a blast. Baylee got to pet some baby cows, a goat and she rode the pony. Then they did the hayride and after that we roasted weenie's! Saturday evening Britt went over to our friends house to watch the Razorbacks get stomped by Kentucky. I'm so disappointed in my Hogs this year!

This morning we got up and I took the car to get the oil changed and tires balanced and rotated. It needed both badly! Britt took Baylee to church and then I came back here and put together a lasagne and chocolate cake for our Discovery group tonight. We are hosting it tonight and I'm looking forward to getting together with everyone!

So, it's been busy as usual!

Haunted Houses, hayrides and craft fairs--I freaking love fall! Sounds like you guys really did have a fun weekend. The kids look so grown up, I can't believe how big Blair has gotten! Does she sit up on her own yet?

Sounds like things are going great for your little family!

It's getting cooler and cooler here--it's only supposed to be in the 40s for a high today.

Grand Rapids is only about an hour from Bemidji where I am!
