A Day in the Life.....of me!

This week has already started out busy and it's only going to get worse! This morning Blair had her Occupational Therapy appointment at 9 am. They are no longer doing in-home care since they don't have a nurse to come to the house to monitor her. So, for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy we have to go to them. It's about 20-30 minutes (depending on traffic) from our house. Not too bad, but it was nice having them come here! While we were at the hospital I used a hospital infant scale and weighed her. At her 2 month appointment (well June 26th) she weighed 7lbs 9oz. Today she only weighs 8lbs 10oz. I was a little concerned so we are going to start supplementing my breastmilk again. This time with Enfacare (thanks Allison H.). She uses that with her daughter and was the one to tell me about it. I have used it a few times with Blair (in Branson when I didn't have enough milk) and she did great on it. Not like with the Nutramigin where she was colicky. So, at least it works. Anyway... the nurse called me back from her Pediatrician's office and they gave me the recipe and Dr. Foster wants to see her this week for a weight check and just to see how she's doing. He's awesome!
Anyway... that's just one more appointment added to my already long list of things to do this week.

Today: Occupational Therapy 9-10
Baylee's dance class 10:30-11:30

Tomorrow: Swimming at 10 with some friends of mine

Wednesday: Baylee's dance class 10:30 - 11:30
Blair's appointment with Dr. Foster 11:45
Blair's Cardiology appointment 2:00
Baylee's mini dance camp 2:00 - 4:00

Thursday: Physical Therapy 9:30

Friday: Baylee's dance class 10:30 - 11:30
Working at the church 6:00 - 9:15pm

It's just nuts this week is all I have to say! I may have to re-schedule the Cardiology appointment because it conflicts with the dance camp and I am watching the neighbors son while she takes the girls this week. I took them last week while she watched Blair and her son. And, I've already paid for it and she loves going!

This weekend we had a birthday party to go to at noon on Saturday. It was at a local Gymnastics place and the kids had so much fun! Then, we had Supper Club that night. It was our month to host so I came home and spent the rest of the afternoon getting the house together and getting dinner in the oven.

Sunday we really didn't do much. My Mom came over and ate dinner with us. I was tired and just wanted to relax some since I knew this week was going to be totally ridiculous!

This Summer is going by WAY TOO FAST! Does anyone else agree? Don't get me wrong we've had fun, but I don't want it to end! This is the time of year that it gets HOT and HUMID. I've been trying to stay inside as much as possible except late in the evenings. Britt usually takes Baylee down to the park while I stay here and make bottles and get Blair put to bed.

That's all I've got for now!
Hugs everyone!

Wow...busy gal :o) I love that picture of Blair...she's as cute as her big sis. I hope you survive this very busy week and have a much more uneventful week next week. Enjoy the pool!

I miss you!

Yeah, busy is the word for sure... especially today! I rescheduled the Cardiology appt for Sept. Of course we have to go to Little Rock for it because they couldn't get me in to the Lowell clinic until December! But, that works out because she's got an appt anyway in Little Rock at the same time.

Miss you too Sanne!

That little Blair has such a sweet smile!
Sounds like your summer has been busy.
You said on your other page Blair's omphalacele might get smaller before she has her sugery; will that make the operation less complicated and her recovery time faster?
