St. Louis

I still haven't heard back from Seattle, but one of the nurses from St. Louis Children's did call me back today. She was very helpful and had lots of good information. She told me of specific stories of kids just like Blair. They do the compression wraps on these types of kids months before surgery! She is going to go over some of Blair's information with the Pediatric Surgeon and she will be calling me back tomorrow. St. Louis is a LOT closer than Seattle for sure. It's about 5-6 hours from here.

Anyway... I will give more updates whenever I get them!

I've heard nothing but fabulous things about the Children's Hospital in St. Louis and I also know that they are very cutting edge in certain areas. Every children's hospital has their areas of expertise and maybe O's just aren't ACH's. I know they are one of the best places of pediatric cardiology.

I've read another mother complain about the Children's hospital in Seattle multiple times, so I think St. Louis would be a better bet.

Good luck with new, unexpected development. Blair is still the cutest little thing ever!

Cool! I hope you get something figured out. It would definitely be something to look into and see if it helps.

Re: Seattle Childrens; we used to live about three miles from them and never had anything but the very best care from them. My cousins baby was there when she had cancer, my friends daughter went for a brain injury, and so on.

St Louis is MUCH closer to you though, and willing to help, so I, too, vote that you go there.

Best of Luck!
