Today Blair was having a good day. She is still swollen on her thighs and pee pee area, but other than that Alexis thought the bottom part of her legs looked less swollen than yesterday. This is the picture that Alexis helped Baylee color yesterday. I wish I could of taken a picture of them. Alexis went and got a blanket to put on the floor and she sat down with Baylee and colored with her. Once again, she is such an awesome nurse!
She is doing well with her Picc line out and is continuing to tolerate the breastmilk. Alexis asked the Nurse Practitioner when she would start bottle feeding and he just said "soon". So, that could mean days from now or a couple of weeks. Hopefully she will do well with the bottle feeds and the milk will set well on her stomach.
The Speech Therapist came by today while I was there and gave me a ton of information about reading to her and different things to look for while we are holding her. She said that Blair is doing everything they expect for her age so that was good news!

Thank you so much for taking the time to updated us on the days' events with pictures. They are treasures! Baylee is such a trooper. She looks like she has adjusted well to being away from home. Her smile is contagious! I miss you and wanted you to know that you are in my prayers as often as you are in my thoughts.
